      "title": "Alchemy, Admirals, Threat Level and a month of fixes",
      "content": "A big catch-up release: a month of fixes and new systems since 1.2.3.\n\n**New**\n- **Alchemy / Black Market** crafting tab, with cooldowns so recipes can't be spammed.\n- **Named Admirals & Crew**, and a **Galactic Threat Level** that pushes back as you grow.\n- **Reactive soundtrack & Lore Codex**, plus **Ancient Precursor Artefacts**.\n- Send **different task forces to different destinations** at the same time.\n- **Scout ship** for early expeditions while you wait on research.\n- **Tap to speed up** construction and research timers, and tap to improve the odds on event popups.\n- Your home planet is now **Sol Prime**, and it's bigger and easier to tap on phones.\n\n**Balance**\n- The first reward is smaller, the early curve is smoother, the research gap around 165–320 is filled, and Space Dock is gated behind the buildings before it.\n\n**Fixes**\n- Tutorial overlays that came back blank or black after backgrounding, the publisher-splash flicker, and notifications piling on top of tutorials.\n- First-conquest banner burying itself on phones, and the desktop map action card falling below the fold.\n- Stale grid-strain % after coming back from offline, and overlapping or ghost task-force labels on the Starmap.\n- All eight languages now cover the \"speed up construction\" tutorial step."

      "version": "1.2.3",
      "title": "Starmap polish: first-conquest moment and desktop layout",
      "content": "Two more Starmap fixes:\n\n- Fixed your first planet conquest getting buried on phones — the victory banner, a lore popup, and a feedback prompt could all pile on top of each other at once, with a notification stack covering your fleet status underneath. They now appear one at a time, and notifications stay out of the way of what you're looking at.\n- Fixed the Starmap's main action button being pushed below the visible area on some desktop window sizes, so it's always reachable without scrolling."

      "version": "1.2.2",
      "title": "Small-screen layout fixes for the Starmap",
      "content": "Follow-up to 1.2.1: two more layout fixes found while properly QA-sweeping every language on a phone-sized screen.\n\n- Fixed the star map being wider than the screen on small phones, which made part of it permanently unreachable no matter how you panned.\n- Fixed long translated labels (German especially) getting illegibly truncated in the Starmap's tab bar — they now wrap and hyphenate cleanly instead."

      "version": "1.2.1",
      "title": "Starmap fixes, offline timers, and conquest polish",
      "content": "This update hardens the unified Starmap that merged Conquest and Expedition into one screen, plus a few other fixes:\n\n- Fixed a crash when your task force arrived at a planet after a multi-hop move across the star map.\n- Fixed conquest requiring your fleet to be physically on-site well before Fleet Power 100 — it now correctly stays simple fleet-power-gated in the early game, and only requires your task force to be at the target once you're deploying it seriously.\n- Fixed the first-visit Starmap tutorial not scrolling into view on small screens.\n- Build, ship, and research queues now advance by real elapsed time while the game is closed or backgrounded, capped at an hour.\n- Fixed the \"PLANET CONQUERED\" banner staying stuck on-screen if a conquest finished while you were off the Starmap tab."

      "version": "1.1.1",
      "title": "Current release",
      "content": "Galactic Idle is live with the full core loop: build up your homeworld, research a full tech tree across six branches, build a fleet, and take the fight to the galaxy.\n\n- **Unified Starmap** — conquest and exploration now share one interwoven star map. Send your task force hopping across planets and sectors, stage from owned territory for cheaper travel, and watch the frontier respawn faster the more you control.\n- **Command Doctrines** — spend Command Points earned from conquest on a 3-branch doctrine tree as your empire grows.\n- **Diplomacy & covert ops** — trade with factions, sign non-aggression pacts and alliances, or run espionage and covert missions against rivals.\n- **Offline progress** — come back to resources earned while you were away.\n- Available in English, German, Spanish, French, Indonesian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, and Chinese."
